Calling Ourselves Home:

Ancestral Relationships

Foundations Course Part Two

beginner level course • no experience necessary • open to all 18 and over

Still hearing the call, this second course within the Foundations Program stretches from WitchWays, and angles the magical lens upon ancestral re/connection, relationship regeneration and tending.

Consider this course, if you believe/want to believe that you…

  • descend from ancestors who want to bless you with protection and belonging; to remind that you come from peoples, ways, and migrations, even if you know little about them

  • can choose to turn towards those loving wise ones in the spiral of time, held in this time, with openness and boundaries

  • desire to belong to what and who has preceded you, and commit to reckon with harm doing in all directions

  • may release yourself from internalized patterns of oppression and metabolize woundedness as acts of liberation and solidarity

  • could discover sources of power, and make meaning from what lives deep within your spiritual dna- waiting to awaken and express itself through yourself as purpose

  • long to find and nurture pathways and portals to leave the empire's hex of loneliness and impoverishment of disconnection

This journey includes: demonstration and explanation of skills, presentation of concepts and development of frameworks, group discussion questions and embodiment activities, trancework, resources, and supplemental course content from respected contributors.

This course is part one of two introductory courses featured in the Foundations Program; both courses (or equivalent experience) are pre-requisites for the Continuing Programs (Burning Times Never Ended, Longing to Belong, T.A.C.T., & Wylder Edge).

It is strongly recommended that each course be taken in a self-organized group of 3-7 people. Groups may be affinity, collegial, coven, collective or some other form. This recommendation comes from years of observation and participant feedback.

Taking these courses in groups creates forms of support throughout the study, strengthens the likelihood of practice (as individuals or as groups), and enhances and amplifies learning and self-reflection.

“Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”
