EVENT DETAILS
Event One: September 17th
Visionary Leadership in a Great Turning: Purpose, Power, & Potential
Everyone’s visionary leadership is needed in these perilous times of a great turning. Join me as I offer a systems-thinking map of these intersecting zones of collapse: ecological, economic, social-political, and spiritual.
From within this bigger picture, we’ll explore how to make meaning of our own location in the possible, and offer our gifts in the sacred service of our visions.
Leadership, as the ability to influence and guide, is a way to use responsible power to express your unique brilliance and your magics.
I will offer a short guided meditation to draw on the wisdom of the spirit world for insight about how to navigate the external and internal crises of collapse.
Develop your spiritually-centered purpose through metaphor and nourish your competency. Anchor into a personally crafted spell of belonging to this time.
Take heart in some examples of visionary leaders who generate inspiring ideas, stimulate transformation, create relationships, organize for liberation, and tend the magics of a great turning.
Event Two: September 24th
Resilience and Belonging: Gathering, Growing, and Giving
A world without oppression is possible when we choose to act as though we are needed. Join me as I offer a systems-thinking map of pathways to gather ourselves together to dismantle supremacism and regenerate liberation.
Cooperation and adaptation are evolutionary strategies for survival and change. Groups of all kinds committed to empowerment have, and can, interrupt violence and injustice in every part of our lives.
Learn about how groups of affinity function through intention and shared power, and how they can engage in a spectrum of direct action to challenge unearned authority and harm. Growing together dispels scarcity and evokes faithful purpose while addressing inequity of resources.
I will guide you in a short meditation to help you source insights from the spirit world about gathering your people and bringing your solidarity and acts of mutual aid through emulation of the great spell of deep earth time.
Take heart from the bountiful examples of persistent efforts for collaborative kinship, past and present. Choose belonging to each other, and grow the tree in the machine to burst it from within.
Event Three: October 1st
Beyond Our Lifetime Visions: Time, Terrain, & Tenacity
We have a responsibility to bequeath a living world to the ones yet to come. Join me as I share a systems-thinking template for constellational networks of resilience and mycelial networks of resistance.
Resource mapping supports relationships of interdependence both locally and regionally and fosters non-capitalist economies. Grow your magical and practical kinships, and consider unlikely allies.
Learn about collective decision making through spokescouncil, skill building for autonomous lifeways, fermenting world views of reciprocity and reparation, nurturing an agility with time, befriending shadow as a teacher, and preparations for disruptions as dominator culture unravels.
I will guide you in a short meditation to invite the spirit realm’s guidance in how to stay with the present and ready ourselves for what is coming.
Take courage in the perseverance of a beyond our lifetime vision. Transform fear into power through rituals born of what is needed.
Event Four: October 9th
Animist Witchcraft: Consciousness, Time and Magics
Delve into animist practices and ancestral connections
Cultivate consciousness and temporal agility
Embrace teachings from ancestral wisdom
Join me in this mystical meander about how each of us has our own approaches and practices of relationship with, and within, the living world. Let’s explore how we are each unique vessels for experiencing and expressing the mystery of consciousness - and move beyond the idea of “one right way” to be a witch.
Spirit and science offer different lenses to consider our own self-reflexive awareness, and our orientations in what we call time. Come dance the edge of these perspectives and how they relate to our liberation magics beyond the linear construct of time.
We’ll open with a grounding, prayer, and setting energetic protection, and will have a short trance into the session, and finish with a brief magical movement.
This two hour event explores some of the material from the WitchWays and Calling Ourselves Home courses.
Event Five: October 16th
Councilway: Ancestral Justice and Conflict Transformation
Engage in ancestral justice practices and conflict resolution
Develop skills for transformative dialogue and healing
Strengthen community bonds through council traditions
“What happens between the worlds changes all the worlds.”
Join me in this meander about metabolizing harm, of all registers and dimensions, through a practical ritual template of councilway.
How do we communicate about oppression, injustice and our trauma material with a wisemind? Within non-linear time is it possible to create repair, lessen the amount of beings consigned to becoming hungry ghosts, and set time seeds of liberation for the world we inhabit now, and the world yet to come?
I will encourage you to grow unique and diverse council traditions among your groups and peoples to strengthen the bonds of resilience and support confidence in engaging adversity, conflict and harm.
We’ll open with a grounding, prayer, and setting energetic protection, and will have a short trance into the session, and finish with a brief magical movement.
This two hour event explores some other material from The Burning Times Never Ended, Longing to Belong, and Trauma Aware Conflict Transformation courses.
Event Six: October 23rd
Refugia: Earth Culture DNA, Liberation Cosmology and a Beyond Our Lifetime Vision
Explore the DNA of Earth cultures and liberation cosmologies
Envision and co-create a future rooted in ecological and social justice
Anchor into rituals that support long-term visions for liberation
Dismantlement and regeneration weave seamlessly and simultaneously in these times of a Great Turning.
If it is true that there are difficult times to come as we return the curse of entitlement, estrangement and enslavement, liberate the trapped energy within that curse, and take inspiration from indigenous wisdoms without stealing what hasn’t been freely given, what are our individual and collective responsibilities in this?
Let’s explore the DNA of earth cultures and nourish a diversity of liberatory mytho-cosmologies while envisioning and co-creating a world of justice and beauty.
I will muse on rituals that support our visions and needs, and ways of protecting and preserving the knowledges and enduring stories of how this all came to become and how our descendants could learn from our mistakes and beneficial accomplishments.
And I will share about the essence of refugia, as a home, a stronghold, a temple, a hearth of sustenance, a library, a well of healing, a school, and a gift to the ones yet to come.
We’ll open with a grounding, prayer, and setting energetic protection, and will have a short trance into the session, and finish with a brief magical movement..
This two hour event explores material from the The Wylder Edge course.
